The Salad Lab
Always Fresh, Always Healthy

'Never judge a book by it's cover' or so they say, but in the case of Mr Teboho Nkwanyana, CEO of The Salad Lab, one can safely go ahead and judge.

On meeting Teboho for the first time, one can immediately sense the pride and enthusiasm he has, not only for his business, but the local community too.

Unwavering in achieving his goals, Teboho has taken The Salad Lab from a home-garage based start-up in 2013 into an award winning one a mere 5 years later, having received accolades and awards from Eskom and Investec's Start Up School, receiving 1st prizes from both industry leaders.

Apart from the accolades, Teboho is just as proud being a provider of employment to the local community.

The Salad Lab currently employs a total of nine staff, but as the company grows, more opportunities will be created.

The Salad Lab, in short, is in the Agri Processing business, which is all about simplifying the cooking experience for the home and also increasing profitability for businesses such as restaurants, factory canteens and catering enterprises.

Vegetables and fruit get peeled, washed, cut and packed according to clients needs, all the while adhering to the strict food handling standards.

The obvious benefits for domestic and large scale use of pre-cut, pre-packed vegetables and fruit is the time-saving aspect in addition to savings on equipment cost, electricity and wastage.

The ordering process has also been simplified and all one needs to do is send a Whatsapp to 068 645 5345.
